We have OS maps and leaflets on a variety of activities and places to visit and are only to happy to help you plan your day and suggest routes to take and places to visit. The local towns of Tavistock and Launceston have a wealth of history and a variety of shops, café's and restaurants, as well as swimming pools, golf courses and much more. Maybe you would prefer to just relax in the garden and take in the beautiful countryside, watch the birds or just go for a quiet walk.

After a busy day touring return to the smell of freshly baked bread and an excellent evening meal which is served in the dinning room 2-3 times a week, where you have your own table and a complimentary glass of wine is served with your dinner, before retiring to the lounge with freshly brewed coffee and chocolates. We use local produce where possible and our home reared lamb.

For other eating places there is the ‘Royal Inn' just ¾ of a mile down the road, serving good pub food, the famous ‘Horn of Plenty' 10 minuets drive for that special occasion, Desizns restaurant in Launceston, The Harris Arms at Portgate and various Chinese, Italian and Indian restaurants in Launceston and Tavistock, plus lots of pubs in the vicinity.
