East Hook Holiday Cottages are three idyllic country cottages situated in the heart of glorious Devon with a beautiful 6 mile panoramic view of Dartmoor.
The cottages are in their own quiet & peaceful location on the Tarka Trail & Devon Coast to Coast Cylceway 27 plus in the BBC 2 "Springwatch" area.

| Meadow-sweet Cottage - 4 Star -is a detached lovely new barn conversion with very pretty cottage style interior. It has a warm and cozy sitting room with colour television, video and DVD player. Well equipped kitchen and dining room. Also downstairs is a shower and toilet. Upstairs is a romantic double bedroom, nice twin room, and bathroom with shower. Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms. |

Daisy Cottage & Clover Cottage - 2 Star - are authentic Devon country cottages which were originally thatched. They are around 300 years old with exposed oak beams providing a wonderful charm and ambiance. They both have a warm and cosy sitting room with log fire, colour television, video and DVD player, well equipped quaint kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge freezer. Also downstairs is the bathroom with bath/shower. |

Daisy Cottage has 1 double, & 2 twins, and Clover has 2 doubles & 1 twin. Both sleep 6 in 3 bedrooms, although we do accommodate a lot of couples. Pets allowed in these two cottages.

Imagine now sitting outside on the garden bench and enjoying the outstanding view of Dartmoor . The cottages are the most central point in the West Country for leisure and business self-catering accommodation, being 100 miles from both Bristol & Land's End.
Here at the southern end of the 180 mile traffic free recreational route, the Tarka Trial runs through Abbeyford Woods an unusually diverse Forestry Commission plantation of 153 hectares abundant with many different kinds of wildlife. The cottages are also on the Devon Coast to Coast cycleway, National Cycle Network route 27, a classic truly spectacular 100 miles with over 40% traffic free on former railway lines. Cycle Hire available, can be delivered direct to your cottage. Plus you are welcome to enjoy our private and peaceful fishing on the river Okement. |
